Résumé
Creative Interaction for Dance, Music, Painting
Because of its immersive dimension, Mixed Reality inaugurates a new exploration in creative interaction and art. This first Virtual Reality API will propose an introduction to dance, music and painting application with Virtual, Augmented, Mixed Reality interfaces. The students will have the opportunity to understand what are the challenges and tools to go further in experiencing presence and immersion in virtual environments.
They will have demos on HMD (HTC Vive), visit a four walls immersive room (CAVE), and will use tracking systems.
Classes, tutorials and projects will be taught in English. UTC students will be mixed with international students from the summer school.
Typologie Api
Modalité : #Stage
Format : #Chercheur
Complément : #Atelier
Domaine
Computer science (mixed, augmented and virtual reality)
Public visé
The course is aimed at students with a basic knowledge of programming who want to learn about virtual reality. TC students and students from all disciplines are welcome.
The course is not open to students who have already followed RV01.
VR part 1 will be followed by VR part 2: as they are complementary, we strongly advise you to follow both API if you want to develop a VR application.
A great deal of creativity is required. In Virtual reality 1, a brain storming session will be used to define the development objectives for Virtual reality 2, but the technical development will be limited.
